FAQ
HOW DOES A FOGGING MACHINE WORK?
The fogging machine builds up pressure which converts the specialist fluid into a ‘fog’ allowing you to move it around the room and even target certain areas or previously hard-to-reach areas. The machine features a flow adjustment knob that allows the operator to adjust the spray volume and control the droplet diameter.
STORING YOUR FOGGING MACHINE
Disinfection Fog Machines should be stored in a cool, dry and clean place. It is also advisable to remove fogging liquid in between use.
FOGGING MACHINE UK DELIVERY
Your Fog Machine will be dispatched without 24 hours. Delivery is fast and recorded and includes HypoPROTECT fogging solutions, which contains the wonder ingredient Hypochlorous Acid or ‘HOCI’ which is completely natural, non-irritant and safe for humans and pets.
WHERE YOU CAN USE A FOGGING MACHINE
Use the fogging machine in any room, of any size at any time. Disinfection Fogging doesn’t replace your normal cleaning routines but it is a relatively fast way to sanitise an area.
Due to the ability to sanitise areas fairly quickly, our machine can be used in large multi-room buildings such as schools and factories, and in high traffic areas and in buildings with multiple people and points of contact that provide the potential to spread a virus from person to person.
We have provided fogging machines to numerous businesses, organisations and public bodies including but not limited too –
- Offices
- Schools, nurseries and play centres
- Restaurants, pubs, hotels, gyms and leisure complexes
- Hospitals, care & nursing homes and dental practices
- Bus and coach operators, taxis and driving instructors
- Factories and industrial buildings
- Beauticians, hairdressers and salons.
FILLING A FOGGING MACHINE
Fill the tank with our HOCL solution (provided with the machine) and then follow the instructions to gently spray/mist the area you wish to sanitise.
It is good practice to cover electrical sockets and smoke alarms whilst the fog is being dispersed.
THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DRY FOGGING AND WET FOGGING
Our Dry Fogging machines allow you to change and control the size of the particles dispersed which means that you can wet fog or dry fog.
When the droplets are very small they form a ‘dry’ fog. With bigger droplets the fog is heavier and more like a wet mist, this is ‘wet’ fogging.
Most of our clients wish to dry fog as the contact surface will not be wet to touch after using our sanitising solution due to the small particle size, thus providing good and effective coverage of the desired area with no damage to electrical items, etc.
The particles are so small when dry fogging that by the time they contact surfaces the surface is already dry.
HOW OFTEN TO FOG
Coronavirus and other pathogens can live on surfaces for days, at least in a laboratory, so in high traffic/high use areas it is wise to fog at regular intervals or when the possibility of a new transmission or new bacteria entering the environment has taken place.
Conversely in low-traffic/low-usage areas, you may need to fog very infrequently as the risk of new transmissions is much lower.
HOCl is a tried and tested disinfectant that sanitises every surface the mist touches, killing 99.9999% of bacteria spores and viruses, including COVID-19, norovirus, E. coli, and others, within seconds of coming into contact with them. pH neutral, and skin/food-safe, it can be used as often as required without any side effects or issues.
THE USE OF PPE WHEN USING A FOGGER
PPE is not necessary when fogging with our HOCl. solution.
NO NEED TO VACATE A ROOM AFTER USING THE PRODUCT
If you’re using HypoPROTECT fogging fluid with your machine then there is no need to vacate a room whilst fogging. This is due to the active ingredient Hypochlorous Acid or ‘HOCI’ being natural, non-irritant and safe for humans and pets.
This is not the case with all fluids on the market and as such we would encourage you to follow the product advice on the label.
